May 13 - 21, 2024

This is your chance to meet heroes in the faith that are taking the kingdom to some of the hardest areas in the world.  This vision trip will start in Egypt where you will learn how the Egyptian workers are making great progress in expanding the gospel in the region.  In addition, you will meet teams from surrounding countries that are seeing things that you only heard about in the book of acts.  We will then head to Lebanon where our partner ministry in based to meet their team and spend time in the field seeing the gospel movement from another perspective.  After this trip, you will come back inspired by what God is doing and be looking for ways to get more involved in this kingdom advancing work.

Spring 2024

The UK Prayer adventure is an annual exploration of Christian rhythms and camaraderie as we engage in prayer walking and blessing in London, discuss the historical roots of our faith in Oxford, England, and finish our trip at the Welsh prayer retreat center Ffald y Brenin. While the locales, vistas, and educational experiences are wonderful, they don’t compare to the adventure of journeying with brothers and sisters in Christ from a posture of blessing!

April 1-9, 2024

In partnership with NEO Leaders, we have been serving the Yazidi community of northern Iraq for several years mostly working with ISIS survivors and their families.  Part of this effort has been to build safe places in the camps to build community, education, children’s programming and trauma care.  As part of this trip, we will be building a playground to finish off the newly build community center at Sharya.  On this trip you will meet amazing people, serve them by building a playground and ministering to them with other activities.  You won’t soon forget your new friends that have persevered through so much pain and heartache to become more than just survivors of ISIS.

Now is your chance to see God move in a powerful way. Our time in Egypt will be spent meeting heroes of the faith and hearing how God is supernaturally reaching Muslims and forming them into disciple makers. We will then transition to Lebanon to be at the headquarters of our ministry in the region to meet our leaders, visit our DBS Groups and catch the ever-expanding vision of this gospel movement.

Some of Novo’s longest relationships date back over forty years, and are tied to the founding of the organization while the Metcalfs resided in Birmingham. To honor those relationships and to deepen newer ones, Team Leaders Taylor Smith and Sam Metcalf are delighted to introduce participants to the projects and people who are making incredible contributions to the work in the Middle East. Spending time in Cairo and Beirut you will be able to see aspects of refugee and ministry to people with disabilities, all under the umbrella of Disciple Making Movement.

September 18 - 22, 2024

Join us on a service trip to Minden, Nevada, to work alongside the wonderful team at Hallelujah Toffee, a nonprofit that gives 100% of its profits to various ministries. Besides helping with the toffee distribution process, we'll participate in a local Discovery Bible Study and Worship & Ministry night. We’ll also engage in a time of activating prayer by joining with local churches to prayer-walk through the city streets, blessing the community and preparing the ground for a movement of God. Participants will also have the option to explore some of the beautiful, historical areas nearby and spend time with a Christian dirt bike club at one of their events.
